Possibly the most uplifting, hilarious and heart-warming book about death that I’ve ever read. Kirsty Greenwood’s books are always a treat and this is no exception. I absorbed the chapters every spare moment that I had – Kirsty’s ability to paint a heroine you will root for from start to finish is nothing short of magic itself. It’s my favourite read of 2024 and I only wish it had carried on for another 8,000 pages.
Be still my bookish romantic heart. This book has everything. There’s magic, romance, comedy, side characters, twists, turns and existential crisis inducing storylines. It has a host of key familiar romance tropes but written in a refreshingly unique way. It’s not predictable, you will laugh out loud, you will fear the worst, you may get the happily ever after. Maybe.
We’re delighted that The Love of my Afterlife will be a Tea Leaves and Reads Book Club choice later this Summer. It deserves to be read and adored by so many people. Kirsty Greenwood, you’ve done it again!
About the Book
