What’s in the box?
Spoiler alert! Contents of each box may vary but the full details are on the product pages. Generally we include four beverages (two sachets of tea and two sachets of coffee). We also include a tasty treat and a brand new or pre-loved book (depending on which you’ve purchased). We add a literary postcard to each box too. Everything is hand-wrapped and tied with string with a wax seal to finish it off.
Are packaged materials recyclable?
Our boxes are packaged in as much eco-friendly packaging as possible. All of our main packaging is recyclable (box, brown paper & inside packaging). The shredded packing material that we use is a light, bio-degradable void fill made from shredded timber (naturally dried). Please check individual packaging on the additional items in each box for the recycling instructions and guidance.
Do you ship to my location?
We currently ship to the UK and a limited number of European countries. We cannot ship to PO Boxes or Military addresses.
We are actively looking at ways to ship further internationally and if you would like to see if we can ship to your country, then please contact us.
Contents may change depending on where we ship to and we cannot be held responsible or liable for any additional customs and tax charges that may be added in transit.
Do you offer a bespoke service?
We LOVE finding the right book for you so this is a service that we offer. Just drop us an email with the details at firstname.lastname@example.org including your Goodreads or Blog profile links or a list of your favourite authors/books and we will work to get some suggestions sent over to you. Alternatively you get hold of us by filling out the form on our contact page. You will also have the option at checkout to tell us about your reading preferences.
Can I gift a box to someone else?
Sharing the bookish love is what we’re all about so we actively encourage you purchasing a box for someone else! Just make sure you include their address at checkout and there is also the option to have a printed message included too. If you gift a subscription then the recipient will receive a note in their box advising them that there are more boxes to come as well as an option to extend their membership after three months.
How long will my order take?
Most orders will be dispatched within 3 working days of receipt of payment and will be shipped second class with the Royal Mail if you’re in the UK or Royal Mail International Standard if you’re outside the UK. Bespoke boxes (where you have asked us to source something specific) may take longer.
