I could not put this down. I had to, but it was difficult. From the beginning right up until the end, this book was relentless. The pace was set from the start and there was no change, twists, turns, corners, back tracking, secrets, lies… What got me the most was that I liked the characters, even the ones that you aren’t really supposed to! I wanted them to succeed, I willed them to be okay… and were they? Well that’s a spoiler. These people felt real, human, raw and I absolutely adored that.

Throw in the setting, Adele’s beautiful writing, a punchy and unpredictable storyline, and what do you have? The perfect thriller.

I didn’t know this until right at the end when I read the Author note, but this is the follow up to Both of You. I haven’t read it, but I definitely will be. I didn’t feel like I missed out at all but love that there is more of a back story to uncover with these characters!
