My thoughts…

C.L. Taylor is one of my ‘go to’ Authors when I know that the book will be addictive and fantastic and I won’t want to put it down. So I snapped up the chance to read her upcoming publication (due March 2021) without quite realising that it was a Young Adult Thriller.

However it didn’t make a bit of difference! I don’t know why I thought that it would. I often venture into the genre – but this was just another fantastic, addictive and gripping read and I actually wouldn’t necessarily mark it as Young Adult at all.

The book addresses a number of issues – bullying, post traumatic stress disorder, loss, grief, relationships and so on. For that reason the target audience that would benefit would be young adults. However it crosses adult concepts and dilemmas too and I think it’s suitable for most ages.
