The greatest love is the one you never expected to find…
We’re at book six in the Dream Harbour series – what a journey – and it feels like one that has evolved Laurie Gilmore’s writing too. Each book in the series is better than the one before – the perfect blend of spice, romance and small-town charm.
These books can easily be read as stand-alone novels, they’re set in the same small-town with interconnected characters and it’s great to see familiar names whilst focusing on new main characters, but the reading order isn’t particularly important.
The characters are easy to connect with, Daisy is kind, well-meaning and undeserving of a reputation that has been placed upon her (the whole town believes her flower shop is cursed, awkward!). She’s very real, immature at times which was frustrating, but all the more believable because of it. Elliot had a quiet charm that bounced off her dynamic perfectly, and there was a gentleness to Laurie Gilmore’s writing when crafting his character, that I hadn’t really seen before.
Once again the town doesn’t disappoint, the atmosphere was great, the supporting characters brilliant, the book had a great flow and no unexpected dramas. Add in the spice and it was the perfect spicy romance package.

About the Book
The greatest love is the one you never expected to find…
Daisy is fed up with being unlucky in love, and after several weddings she has done the flowers for end in divorce, her beloved flower shop has gained a reputation of being cursed, thanks to Mayor Kelly and his infamous visions.
Dream Harbor newcomer, Elliot, has been adjusting to town life following his own relationship turmoil. And until now he’s avoided the flower shop at all costs. If the mayor is correct, he doesn’t need any more bad luck in his life.
But with his family coming to visit, Elliot finds himself reluctantly in front of Daisy’s store in need of some flowers. As the petals blossom in the sunlight, Daisy and Elliot might find that love comes when you’re least expecting it…
