The new whimsical and haunting romance from B.K. Borison.

One of my favourite reads of the season! Grim Tidings has absolutely everything I want from a B.K. Borison book: wit, banter, spice, brilliant chemistry and a storyline that keeps you turning the pages.

It is jam-packed FULL of all the favourite tropes – tattoos, grumpy vs. grumpy, angel vs. reaper, forced proximity and plenty more – and somehow Borison manages to throw them all together without it ever feeling like too much. Instead, it’s a ridiculously fun, wonderfully atmospheric read with characters you can’t help but get invested in.

And then there’s the spooky element. This is paranormal romance done exactly the way I like it: enough supernatural darkness and eerie atmosphere to give it that deliciously spooky edge, but with plenty of humour, heat and romance to keep things simmering. And simmering it absolutely is.

There’s something so enjoyable about a book that knows exactly what it is and leans all the way into it, and Grim Tidings does just that. It’s fun, flirty, spicy, a little bit spooky and packed with the kind of banter that had me grinning.

If you’re looking for a seasonal read that feels like Halloween, romance and a very good time all rolled into one, this one should definitely be on your list.
