the day we meet again

Phoebe’s adventure is waiting.
Sam has to deal with his past so he can move on with his future. But will love wait while life happens?

Phoebe and Sam meet by chance at St Pancras station.
Heading in opposite directions, both seeking their own adventures,
meeting the love of their lives wasn’t in the schedule.
So they make a promise: to meet by the statue of Sir John Betjeman
in twelve months’ time if they still want to be together.

But is life ever as simple as that?

Oh this book…. I seemed to have a constant bout of hayfever whilst reading this. That must have been it…. I think it’s the fact that Miranda Dickinson is so talented with writing – that she painted a very realistic scene as Phoebe and Sam met. Too realistic. I could see this playing out as a very emotional movie!

‘We’ll meet again at St Pancras station, a year from today. If we’re meant to be together, we’ll both be there. If we’re not, it was never meant to be . . .’

You will root for these two. You really will. We follow both Phoebe and Sam as they go their seperate ways for the next year. Exploring, travelling, and constantly having us wondering ‘Will they….won’t they…’ meet again.

The only criticism is the accuracy of some of the real places that are explored in the book. Trains to Scotland directly from St Pancras….? And the location of the statue – once I read about the statue I had to find out more and it’s actually nowhere near the entrance to the Eurostar. Because it was so beautifully written I did feel that a little more research could have gone into the locations or logistics as should be the case when using real statues and places in a book. However… don’t let that stop you from reading this absolutely stunning book. Suspend reality…and enjoy.

This book is OUT in just five days… get ahead of the game and pre-order now.  Expected publication is 5th September 2019.
