lies lies lies

Characters with realistic flaws are always refreshing aren’t they? And that’s exactly what Adele Parks achieves in this book – believable characters. I’ve read a good handful of Adele Parks publications and although they’re all brilliant they do get better as time goes on. This is a cracker of a psychological thriller made even better when there are lies to the reader as well as to other characters in the book. Adele Parks makes you feel the indignation when secrets are revealed that you, as the reader, feel you should have been made aware of already.

What makes a good thriller? The drama definitely, but also the addition of humour into an otherwise dark text. Adele Parks is the master of this – subtly injecting a bit of fun or a laugh throughout keeps the book interesting, realistic and fun. You will be sickened, frustrated, angry, relieved and so much more whilst you are on the journey of reading this book.

Lies Lies Lies was published on the 5th September 2019 and is availablel to purchase from all major bookstores and online.
