There is A LOT going on in this book and I absolutely loved it. The pace, the tension, the suspense… just perfect. I don’t know how C L Taylor fit so much into just one book! It’s a compulsive read with four possible targets, plots and back stories with an involved and complex storyline woven throughout.
Very topical right now but if you’re enjoying The Traitors series and you’re looking for a book with the exact vibes of ‘who can you trust…’ then this is the one. Red herrings, blind alleys, surprising reveals, shocking twists and that perfect, neatly-wrapped-up but explosive ending. There’s another C L Taylor book coming and she does NOT disappoint.
