This was such an easy and beautiful read, gently exploring an underlying mystery, long-lost family and a romance that spans lifetimes, the characterisation was great and the research and Salem representation was brilliant. Set in the present time in London UK, and in Salem, it’s a dual timeline novel that also slips back to the 1600s. If you’re looking for a mid-paced read with a good amount of atmosphere, practical magic vibes and a whole lot of accuracy in the Salem stakes, this is the book for you!
