Huge thanks to Keighley_Reads for allowing us to share her fabulous review of a book that wouldn’t ordinarily be her go to choice.
What a stunning read! I absolutely loved this book. Beautifully written and full of insights into Hamza’s life and childhood, it’s packed with charming stories and anecdotes about nature and what he’s encountered in the wild.
Reading it has definitely inspired me to explore more of the UK and try to spot beavers and otters for myself! I also learned so much about our wildlife, especially the origins of some non-native species, which was fascinating. If you love nature, this is an absolute must read. Truly a fantastic book!

About the Book
Hamza has always loved the outdoors.
Hamza Yassin loves being outdoors in nature. As a child who struggled with dyslexia at school, he always longed to be in the world outside the classroom. Thankfully, due to a forward-thinking teacher who encouraged him to run outside before a lesson, Hamza embraced his love of nature from an early age. There he discovered that his dyslexia allowed him to see the world in a special way.
