Mouse loves spending her evenings talking to Moon about her thoughts and dreams, believing they are the only ones in the whole wide world. So, when the moon comes plummeting down into the endless ocean, Mouse sets off to save her only friend alone.
But it turns out Mouse isn’t the only one who misses Moon’s shimmering glow. And as the animals unite to help place it back in the sky, Mouse begins to see her moon – and the world – in a whole new light . . .

About the Author
Sandra Dieckmann is an illustrator, author and maker. Her work is deeply inspired by all that’s weird and wonderful in nature, drifting thoughts and dreams. She was born in the north of Germany but lives and works in Sheffield. Her first book as author and illustrator, Leaf, was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal, longlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize and shortlisted for both the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and the AOI World Illustration Award.
