We’re celebrating books, a plethora of genres, and all things bookish at the second ever Tea Leaves & Reads Literary Festival. Our Festival for 2025 is a full two-day weekend with twenty-six wonderful Authors joining us (and you!) with delicious food, beverages and the best bookish company. You can expect gripping and emotional panel discussions, insightful conversations, book signings, Q & A’s, interviews and the opportunity to discover your next favourite Author as well as meet those you have read for years. Full weekend tickets are substantially discounted in comparison to purchasing the single days (should these be available in July) and include the following additional benefits:
- Entry into a prize draw for a £50 Tea Leaves & Reads Voucher to spend on books (winner announced on festival day one)

We are incredibly lucky to have a whole host of brilliant Authors attending across the two days to talk books, sign books, and celebrate books. And if you’re a book club member – we’re delighted to be welcoming October’s book club Author to the event too! Author attendance is subject to change if there are circumstances beyond control. Please note that Authors listed below are not all attending both days of the event – a full schedule will be released nearer the time along with any single day tickets if there are any left.

Event Plan for the Weekend
Saturday
- Early Bookshop browsing from 8am
- Early Festival Access to weekend ticket holders from 9:30am
- Doors officially open at 10:00am with the event starting at 10:30am sharp with an opening address from Amanda Prowse
- Sweet treats, unlimited tea and coffee served in vintage tea party crockery
- Kingfisher Events Picnic in a Box
- Cream Tea served in the Afternoon
- Panels, Interviews, Questions and Answers Sessions
- Book signings, Festival Pop-up Bookshop & Bookshop Browsing
- Festival close – 5pm
Sunday
- Early bookshop browsing from 9am
- 9:30am Festival Doors open with hot drinks available & sweet treat on arrival
- Lunch on site from the Tipsy Toastie and included in your ticket
- Unlimited tea, coffee and cold drinks throughout the day
- Panels, Interviews, Questions and Answer Sessions
- Book signings, Festival Pop Up Bookshop and Bookshop Browsing
- Festival close – 4pm

FAQ’s
Book Signings
Ticket Holders will have the opportunity to purchase the Authors books from Tea Leaves & Reads. An email will be sent in advance to all attendees with a list of each Authors recent books available for purchase plus an option to add title requests in. You will then be able to pre order a title or bundle and signing will be arranged on the day. A small selection of each Authors books will also be available to buy ad hoc on the day however these will be limited and purchasing a bundle in advance will include a significant discount and to avoid missing out. A discount will be available for weekend ticket holders in addition to the exclusive £10 voucher.
For this event we are not permitting additional book signings so please don’t bring books for signing with you – time won’t allow it as we have a day packed full of bookish things.
Lunch and Refreshments
We’ll be providing refreshments throughout the day and hot/cold drinks will be available. Ticket holders must contact us [email protected] 28 days prior to the event to inform of any dietary requirements or allergies.
The Bookshop
The bookshop will be fully stocked and ready to welcome you on the day with periodic opening hours between 8am and 530pm (Saturday) and 9am and 4pm (Sunday).
The Location
Tea Leaves & Reads is located at The Fairground in Weyhill, Hampshire.
The main event will be held at The Fairground Hall, opposite the bookshop. For accessibility queries please contact us or visit the village hall website.
Tickets
Weekend Ticket Sales opened 30th May at a discounted price in comparison to single day tickets. Remaining tickets for each day will be on sale 1st July 2025 IF there are any left. Saturday cost: £90. Sunday cost: £75. Weekend tickets are the best value with as many perks and extras as we have been able to allow! Weekend ticket holders also have the option to buy their ticket in full or pay in three instalments – each non-refundable. The benefits exclusive to weekend ticket holders will be available whether you pay in full or in instalments. Instalment two of £50 will be invoiced on 1st July. Instalment three of £45 will be invoiced on 1st August. In paying a deposit you commit to paying in full by 5th August 2025.
When you purchase a ticket you will receive an email receipt which will include your order number and name – these will be used to confirm entry to the event. Please keep this safe as this is your admission ticket on the day. If you have purchased a ticket for someone else please contact us to provide their name.

Travelodge – Hawker Siddeley Way, SP11 8BF – 5 min drive / 2.1 miles
Premier Inn – Joule Road – 4 min drive / 2.7 miles
The Hawk Inn – Amport – 7 min drive / 2.8 miles

Parking & Travel
By car: Available parking on-site is free. Where possible, if attendees could car share if coming with friends/family that would be appreciated. A car park attendant will be available on the day to support.
By bus: The number 8 bus runs regularly from Andover bus station to the gates of the Craft Centre.
By rail: From Andover train station, it is best to walk to the bus station and then catch the number 8 bus. Alternatively it is about a 10 minute ride by taxi to the Fairground from the train station.
Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable. Please note that there may be circumstances beyond our control that mean a listed Author cannot attend. In the unlikely event of this happening no refunds part or fully will be given. In the unlikely event of full cancellation, Tea Leaves & Reads will initially transfer tickets to a new date. A refund will be given if an alternative date cannot be found.
