Frequently Asked Questions
When will my subscription be dispatched?
Your subscription will start when the questionnaire has been filled in. If you don’t need to wait for this then please let us know in the notes when you checkout by writing, ‘start my subscription now’ and we will tailor your subscription to the genre that you chose. If you do this your first book will be dispatched within three to five working days and the same approximate date each month thereafter. Your book will be dispatched via 2nd Class Royal Mail postage.
I would like to buy a subscription as a gift, do you do physical vouchers?
Currently our vouchers are digital and delivered to you, the purchaser, via email, unless you specify otherwise at the time of ordering. The Voucher will be sent to you within 48 hours of your order being received by us. This means that you can send on the digital voucher to the recipient at the appropriate time and avoid us ruining any surprise gifts! Your recipient will have all of the information on the digital voucher to get their subscription started. You can also include a gift message at checkout which will be included with the recipients first book.
Will I automatically be resubscribed?
No. Your subscription can be for three, six, nine or twelve months and the payment is taken at the time of purchase. We will write to you when your final delivery is dispatched to ask if you’d like to re-subscribe.
Can I pause my subscription?
No. Your subscription cannot be paused. If you need to discuss this further with us please don’t hesitate to get in touch as we can slightly change dates if you know you’re going to be away and cannot receive your order.
Can I update my reading preferences?
Yes absolutely. You can email us anytime if your reading tastes change or you’d like to try a different genre. Once you have completed your questionnaire we will use this to inform the choices for your subscription unless we have further communication from you. We just need at least one weeks notice before dispatch, if you’d like to change your preferences. Email us [email protected] to chat all things books, we’d love to hear from you.
My address has changed, what should I do?
Email us as soon as possible. It is your responsibility to ensure we have your up to date shipping address.
