A refreshing, golden black tea blend inspired by the beautiful chalk landscape of the Bourne Valley. We’ve selected a smaller leaf size to give a stronger brew, the small size infuses quickly to give colour, strength and flavour. It’s a blend that works perfectly with milk.

East African teas from ‘the land of a thousand hills’ give flavour and brightness to the blend. With its warm temperate climate and mountainous terrain, conditions are ideal for growing tea all year round in Rwanda. The volcanic soil is nutrient rich, which together with the altitude, gives Rwandan tea a distinct, high-grown flavour profile.

Peak quality second-flush Assam teas, provide thickness and body. Harvested from end May onwards and available for just a few weeks per year, the Second Flush produces the best quality tea in Assam, with thick malty liquors and an abundance of golden tips.

Bright and brisk, our Breakfast blend works well with or without milk. However, we love to serve it with a splash of milk to enhance the body and richness.
