Join us for a magical evening of winter fiction, festive cheer, and cosy conversation as three wonderful authors come together to share their stories of love, hope, and seasonal sparkle.
We’re thrilled to welcome Cressida McLaughlin, Jenny Bayliss, and Emily Stone — three beloved voices in contemporary fiction — to talk about their latest winter novels. From snow-dusted romances to heartwarming tales of friendship and family, each author will bring a touch of seasonal magic to the bookshop setting at The Fairground.
Expect behind-the-scenes insights into their writing, festive traditions that inspire their books, and plenty of laughter as we celebrate the joy of reading together during the most enchanting time of year.
T’s and C’s coffee van will be right outside The Fairground Hall for you to purchase a warming drink before you head on in. Doors open 6:30pm for a 7pm start. The Authors will take to the stage for approximately one hour including a Q and A session at the end, followed by a book signing & dedicating session featuring their latest festive fiction.
Books purchased on the night from Tea Leaves & Reads can be signed and dedicated. We regret that unfortunately there isn’t time for you to bring additional books for signing.

Yours for the Season by Emily Stone
Jenny Bayliss is a former professional cake baker and lives in a small seaside town in the UK with her husband, their children having left home for big adventures. Cressida McLaughlin is a bestselling author of contemporary romance who has sold over a million copies of her books. Her feel-good, escapist fiction, featuring unforgettable characters who find their happy place, has established her as a firm favourite among readers and fellow authors alike.
Emily Stone is the author of Always, in December, One Last Gift, Love, Holly, and A Winter Wish. She lives and works in the UK and wrote her first novel in an old Victorian manor house with an impressive literary heritage.

The Location
Tea Leaves & Reads is located at The Fairground in Weyhill, Hampshire.
The main event will be held at The Fairground Hall, opposite the bookshop. For accessibility queries please contact us or visit the village hall website.
Tickets
When you purchase a ticket you will receive an email receipt which will include your order number and name – these will be used to confirm entry to the event. Please keep this safe as this is your admission ticket on the day.
Parking & Travel
Available parking on-site is free.
Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable. Please note that there may be circumstances beyond our control that mean an Author cannot attend. In the unlikely event of full cancellation, Tea Leaves & Reads will initially transfer tickets to a new date. A refund will be given if an alternative date cannot be found.
